Terrance Heath

Terrance Heath is a veteran family law and estate planning attorney.  He focuses his practice at the intersection of estate planning and marital/life partner concerns (premarital and “post-nup” agreements).  Terrance’s empathetic approach supports our clients in developing and quantifying their wishes from the planning process so they feel a sense of ownership in the outcome.  Since founding his own practice in 2002, he has focused on the unique needs of LGBTQ+ clients and their families.

A California attorney since 1996, Terrance’s legal experience also includes probate and trust litigation, small-business and non-profit formation and transactions, civil litigation, and attorney-client fee disputes. In 2009, he was certified by the State Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization as a family-law specialist, and also completed 40 hours of mediation training under Ron Kelly.

Terrance is a California native, currently residing with his two children in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley and Boston College Law School and holds a Masters in Law Firm Management from George Washington University.
